SMTP On XP
From RiskWiki
- Open the Windows control panel (eg. Start / Settings / “Control Panel”) and select “Add or Remove Programs” and then “Add/Remove Windows Components”:
- In XP you will find the IIS Components including the SMTP service here:
- Click on the details and tick SMTP service.
- Select “OK” to run the installation. (Instruction for configuring SMTP services are continued in the next section)
