SMTP On XP

  • Open the Windows control panel (eg. Start / Settings / “Control Panel”) and select “Add or Remove Programs” and then “Add/Remove Windows Components”:



  • In XP you will find the IIS Components including the SMTP service here:



  • Click on the details and tick SMTP service.


  • Select “OK” to run the installation. (Instruction for configuring SMTP services are continued in the next section)
